Who we are
Eclipse Holdings Limited is one of Uganda’s oldest and most trusted insurance groups, originally founded in 1964 by an Act of Parliament as the National Insurance Corporation. After privatization in 2005 and public listing on the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) in 2010, Eclipse Holdings became the first and only insurance company listed on the USE.
In 2014, Eclipse Holdings transitioned into a fully-fledged insurance group with two specialized subsidiaries — Eclipses General Insurance and Eclipse Life Assurance. Together, they continue Eclipse’s decades-long legacy of reliability, innovation, and exceptional service delivery.
